About the Sequence
This curriculum includes 47 studio progressions organized to demonstrate relationships between:

- shape
- form
- spatial awareness
- increasing visual and motor complexity
The sequence reflects material and skill relationships, not a prescription for when a child should be introduced to a particular experience.
Selection, pacing, and duration depend on observation, environment, and educator judgment.
Age Range & Editions
Two editions are available to reflect differences in material demands and complexity:
- Early Childhood Edition
Focuses on introductory drawing actions and foundational material exploration - Elementary Edition
Includes expanded studio experiences with increased visual and motor complexity
Educators select experiences based on context, observation, and environment rather than age alone.
